A 5 day course using hand tailored Couture techniques to finish a tweed jacket. Including taping and canvassing the jacket front, pad stitching the collar and joining the collar to the jacket by hand. Felling the lining and hand worked button holes.

A 5 day course making the perfect LBD. The lightweight wool crepe is draped on the stand and then using traditional Couture, hand sewing techniques, the perfect dress emerges.

A 5 day course making a body double for a dress stand and then draping a jacket on this stand and making a working pattern from the toile.

Fit Palm Springs California USA
A five day course exploring the concept of fit. Students made up various garments, jackets, skirts and dresses and these garments were then fitted on the students in a class situation to show the various techniques involved in correctly fitting a garment.

A course of 5 days, drafting a trouser pattern to fit each student and then making the trousers using classic couture sewing techniques. Tack marking, stab stitching in canvas and hand finishing a waist band are just some of the things covered on this course.
